A Little About Our Providers
Dr. Matt was raised in Spokane and attended medical school at the University of Washington. His pediatric training was at Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri. He is board-certified by the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Thompson is also serving as the Medical Director at Joya Child and Family Development (formerly known as the Guild School) here in Spokane. He and his wife have successfully raised six children, with his youngest graduating from high school in 2024.

Dr. Lee was raised in Wisconsin and attended medical school at the University of Wisconsin. His pediatrics training was at the Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital in Portland, Maine. He is board-certified by the American Academy of Pediatrics. He and his wife have two teenage sons.

Dr. Carlson grew up in Centennial, Colorado, and attended medical school at the University of Iowa. Her pediatrics training was at Walter Reed in Bethesda, Maryland, and she practiced at Osan Air Base in Korea and is finishing her Air Force commitment at Fairchild Air Force Base. She loves running, backpacking, baking, and skijoring with her dog in her free time. She and her husband welcomed their first baby, a little boy, in December 2022.

Robin was raised in Pennsylvania and retired from active duty as a U.S. Navy Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in 2009. She attended graduate school at Duke University and has 25+ years experience as a pediatric/adolescent nurse practitioner. She is married and is the proud mom of two wonderful young adults.
